Democracy at its best

The U.S. HealthCare Constitution Project is democracy in action. Our efforts are revolutionizing the whole process of healthcare planning by taking it away from the lobbyists, pundits, corporate special interests and partisan politicians who have delayed and destroyed the process. Instead, we’ve moving it to people with ideas and the gumption to discuss them civilly and constructively. It’s a classic example of “reason talks, hogwash walks”. It’s the type of leadership “by the people, for the people” that would have made the Founding Fathers proud.

Building something worthwhile

We’re building something uniquely valuable. America has never had anything like a healthcare constitution that tells our leaders what they can and cannot expect to do with respect to protecting our health and well-being. Our healthcare – and that of our parents, children and grandchildren – is too important to plan and implement haphazardly or as an afterthought. The USHC Project changes all of this by turning healthcare planning into a proactive, living and democratic process. Guarding the future

We’d be making a big mistake if our efforts ended with simply crafting a well-reasoned, rational and publicly acceptable approach to healthcare.
